Alibaba E-commerce Store Launch

With the goal of bringing in international customers, Sunta successfully launched our products onto Alibaba’s global B2B platform after a half year of development.

PCR Product launch

Our PCR products got certified by TUV – a highly recognized worldwide trademark of trust and quality. With the product being certified, Sunta successfully launched our PCR products and promoted to our existing customers.

Sunta Employees' Welfare Fund

To bring more benefits to Sunta employees, our founders Edmond Tam and Terry Fang, along with the help of our committees (consists of employees that have been serving Sunta for the past ten years), have created the “Sunta Employee’s Welfare Fund”. This fund aims to support employees in education while also investing 20% of the fund in CSR purposes.

In order to bring mental support to our employees, Sunta hosted a workshop that aims to educate parents on how to improve and create relationships with their children.

Reengineered Working Environment

Sunta re-engineered our working space that features an indoor garden space, a fun entertainment area, and an open working space, which is inspired by Sunta's care for innovation, environment, and employees. In order to maximize the usage of the open space environment in the office, we offer our space to NGOs to host events and activities. At the same time, we also became a paperless business and stored all of our data in the cloud to help the environment.

Office Expansion

Increased office space from 1000 square feet to 3000 square feet, providing a more comfortable and spacious office space for our employees.

Developing a Sustainable Business

During the period of 2011 to 2013, Sunta became a learning-oriented enterprise. Our co-founders carried out an internal system reform to create an "agile, loyal, efficient, low-carbon, and happy" team. At the same time, we launched talent training programs to achieve a more sustainable and consistent business development.

Began the publishing of monthly and annual reports, analyzing various raw material market activities, trends, and major events in order to provide value our customers.

The launch of Sunta's first official website, providing free and valuable information for our customers. Sunta aims to become a professional and customer-oriented business by keeping updated on quotations every day.

Re-established internal training and management system in Sunta Chemical (Shenzhen) Limited, and recognized as a "general taxpayer" enterprise by Shenzhen Municipal Office of the State Administration of Taxation.

國內內部結構面臨危機,經驗教訓的代價避過金融海嘯

業務發展過速,員工培訓、制度、體系管理未夠完善,員工凝聚力不足,內部結構出現嚴重問題,員工大量流失,及後只餘下1/4員工留守。

又適逢國內新政策紛紛出臺,恐廠商未能承受各方面壓力乃至倒閉潮,存在風險及危機極高。經過詳細分析及評估,最後決定,把國內辦事處逐步撤離,集中發展香港總部業務,避過零八年金融海嘯一劫。

國內業務持續擴展至深圳、順德、中山及上海均設有辦事處及銷售隊伍。

免費提供每日原料報價、市場資訊及石化工廠的原料認證指引等服務

最初源於業務部的突變而人手不足,未能逐一電話報價及服務客戶,而當時網絡資訊仍未普遍使用,衍生出每天通過傳真報價與客戶保持緊密聯繫的方法,而發展至今天的網上公開報價服務。

面對嚴峻挑戰

因行業競爭激烈,利潤空間收窄,早年定下的業務佣金制度需調整,加上部門管理制度改革,合作多年的業務員均表示不能接受新制度,而紛紛離職以至整個業務部人員全部離開,只剩下兩位合夥人譚文偉先生(Edmond Tam)及樊翠華女士(Terry Fang)充當業務員。

指定為三星第一毛織株式會社特約代理商。

2001
開展國內業務

成立深圳市華聯新達塑膠原料有限公司,同時被深圳市國稅局評定為「一般納稅人」企業,可在國內辦理有關塑膠原料增值稅的正式業務。

1999
獲第一間銀行支持以政府的「中小企無抵押擔保貸款計劃」貸款280萬

這筆貸款令新達日後的財務管理及安排得到很大助力,以及在日後的發展亦起了很大的影響。當時銀行支持的原因,是感受到我們用心及勤奮而相信新達有發展潛力的公司。

新達化工有限公司(前身為新達塑膠貿易公司)於香港正式成立

創業早期只租親屬地鋪閣樓一張枱的位置,銷售、採購、打單、送貨、物流等等全都要負責,典型的一人公司。
