NuPlastiQ: A 100% Plant-Based Biopolymer Biobased plastics

NuplastiQ is not just a “too good to be true” concept for the distant future; it is a high performance sustainable plastic material – rigorously tested and ready for widespread use. NuplastiQ is made from annually renewable agricultural resources such as potatoes, corn, and cassava. For example, besides industrially manufactured starch, starch that remains after processing potatoes in potato chips and French fries are also used. It can be seamlessly integrated with conventional plastics, and below are different Bio-blends that NuplasitQ can be mixed with traditional plastics to create wide variety of applications, such as bioplastics in automotive, electronics, or packaging.

• BioBlend XP: NuPlastiQ compounded with PE for film applications.
• BioBlend XD: Durable blends with PE, PP, PS, ABS, and Recycled PP&PE for injection molding and thermoforming CPG applications.
• BioBlend XN: Combinations with PP for nonwoven applications.
• BioBlend BC: Mixes with PBAT and PLA for applications demanding bio content, compostability, and biodegradability, meeting various compost certifications.
